Red Eye

This morning I tried to give my contact lens an extra cleaning before use, but I was painfully reminded that the new type of lens cleaner that I use is acidic and needs 6 hours to neutralize before the lens can be put in. Result: a really red eye. This photo is taken several hours after the incident and can only give a hint of the initial disaster.
